Before Words: Understanding Your Baby's Birth Story

A Monthly Circle with Elder Myrna Martin

LIVE • Interactive • Relational

What happened during your baby's birth matters—not just medically, but somatically, relationally, neurologically. The birth process creates an imprint that shapes how your child responds to the world, how they attach, how they regulate, and how they move through life.

Most of us were never taught this. Our society barely acknowledges what happens in utero, let alone how the chemical, physical, and intergenerational patterns of birth live on in our children's nervous systems—and our own.

This class is for expecting parents, new parents, and anyone navigating the tender territory of bringing life into the world. Whether you're pregnant, have a newborn, or are still processing your child's birth months or years later—this circle welcomes you.

This isn't parenting advice. This is deep relational work that honors the profound intelligence babies carry from their earliest moments.

What you'll experience

Join Elder Myrna Martin, who has spent 40 years supporting familiesthrough pre and perinatal healing, for a monthly space where you will:

· Learn how your baby experienced their birth (even if it seemed "fine")
· Understand the chemical and physical imprints that shape attachment and regulation
· Explore how intergenerational birth trauma gets passed down—and how to interrupt it
· Discover what your own birth story might still be influencing in your life today
· Practice attuning to your baby's signals and somatic cues
· Learn ways to heal ruptures and build secure attachment from the beginning
· Work with your own birth patterns so you can be more present with your child
